Block Blast provides a simple, intuitive, and approachable puzzle experience that uncovers layers of intriguing strategy as you play. To empty the board, players just drag and place blocks in rows or columns, completing them. However, just because the mechanics are simple does not mean the ​block blast game is easy. Each block has the potential to drastically change your board arrangement, particularly when enormous shapes come unexpectedly. A important aspect is to plan at least three steps ahead; analyze how the three available blocks can work together rather than simply finding the greatest place for the piece now in possession. It is also advisable to use the corners and edges for complex forms while leaving the middle space open. Importantly, avoid filling the board too rapidly because 3x3 blocks or towering forms may necessitate a significant open space for placement. Block Blast favors smart thinking over luck. The more you learn spatial management, the easier it is to chain combos, clear the board, and set new high scores.
